To corrupt my eyes
Beliving in what I see

For energetic

I just want to tear it out of me
crying just isn't enough anymore
I wish we could both just understand
everyday I just want more

its hard to beleive this is happening
I wish I could handle how your acting now
why do they all hate me suddenly
I want you back but i'm not allowed

I wish this pain would go away
I wish my feelings would dissapear
you know that I try to understand
everything builds up on my fear

I wasn't ready for losing you
maybe you just wanted something more
and you werent ready for talking to me
I don't understand what you left me for

you used tell me how much you loved me
you said you'd never leave me in cold

It's boring; It's stupid; It wont get me fame.

This poem is red; This poem is green.
This poem is all of the colours not in-between.

Why are you reading? Why don't you write?
Why not put pen to paper. Make it dark; Make it bright!

Were my words that important that you'd continue to read as I write?
It's activity to pass the unbearable night.

It's like you're digging my grave

A spell that when spoken,
should only be uttered…very softly…shhh

For this spell…
has a powerful will. This…

is special

And should this spell ever be corrupted by
ignorant mutterings
then it could very well yield poisonous fruits of
madness
and pain

But should this spell be…

whispered

just the right way then…
miracles can happen

And should I tell you…
inform you of it’s delicate name!?

my crying is louder than my laughter.
my choices are slower than my actions.
my scars are deeper than my razor blade.
but they fade and never go away.
i become more alone as i cry

here is a heart that has not found the key.
why must i have all this pain?

Don't Judge me…

Don't judge me by looks, neither by my race.
Don't complain about my worries, nor because my taste.
Don't hate me for my religion, for it is what I believe.
Don't sit here and back talk the world, for it will not relieve.
Don't despise me for my interests, or for my complex maze.
Don't dislike my sexuality, for I was born this way.
Don't hate me for my hair, all colors bleed the same.
Don't forget I'm standing here, yet I do have a name.
Don't judge me by my voice, we all don't sound alike.
Don't yell into the crowd, and laugh at what's not right.

PeaceGrace, infinite tranquility within this wonderful place
Where I may sit and think in my unconscious daze.
Lain out upon this small patch of cool damp grass,
Gazing up to the small white puffs of cloud pass;
A slight breeze blows gently through my curly hair,
Tickling my cheeks with that slight chill in the air.
Leaves of all sorts of colors dancing above my eyes
As they twirl down to earth, with the ballet they fly.
One of my small cats trot to my side, plopping down
Curling up within my arms with a slight purring sound.
Birds sing joyful ballads all around me in this place;
Yet they flap beyond my eyes, leaving behind no trace.

Don’t dare wake me from this blissful sleep,
Where I can make my own world,
Where I can sleep late,
Where I can be anything or anyone I choose,

Here I can lie and look at the clouds,
Here I no longer have to wait for him,

A Hall of Black RosesI walk alone, through an endless hall,
Black roses fill the hall, thousands of them,
Too many to count.
One for every kiss I could have given you,
One for every time I could have held you,
One for every ounce of love I offered you,
And one for every time you turned it away.

One for every tear I’ve cried over you,
One for every night I’ve dreamt of you,
One for every time I felt my heart break over you,
One for every time I’ve tried to stop loving you,
And the same amount for every time I failed,

Two Tomato RosesShe, so like the
red tulips of spring
warmed his hands from the cold
He, so like the
swooping willow trees
and blossoms that wake early
in morning
Held her close to keep the blood
alive

She saw scarlet in his eyes
tiny ringlets of showers
on the moon

She was tomato roses, he said
sweet and beautiful,
crisp as apples off branches

Standing out in ten below
they kept alive by dancing
flickers of warmth from their
fingertips clasping tightly
to their eyes
locked closely

never letting go of that
embrace

The RoseI saw a Rose today; it glistened with dew.
With the wind it swayed; away, the leaves blew.

Oh so brilliant red, the flower had been;
Lying in its bed, I was glad to see.

The Rose was quite big, the size of my fist;
With long thorns it hid, lain within some mist.

The magic of it made my heart so warm;
The flower was lit, glowing in its form.

I smiled to see the leaves were falling;
The Rose lived with glee, with winter calling.

Snow began to fall, and the flower stayed;
The ice made a wall, but the flower lived.

The winter ended, and the ice melted;
The Rose, blue tinted, withered and wilted.

The Rose turned to black and fell to

Fairweather friendI'm walking down this empty street,
And talking to myself,
These words are sacred medicine,
To save my ailing health.

I walk up to a house of hell,
I'm searching for a key,
I'm tired of thinking up the words,
You do not say to me.

As I enter the corridor,
The walls are cold and bare,
I could search for hours on end,
I know you won't be there.

I stay inside the sitting room,
Within this house of fear,
I pass the time by telling jokes,
That you will never hear.

Love and BirthWe’ll dance the way the giants did,
Twirl, sing, leap, and bellow.
Dirt will swirl and spin,
we’ll step out new valleys,
Mountains will explode from between our toes.
We'll crash the clouds into the ground,
hold the moon and stir the oceans,
and breathe in the first light of day.
We'll swing and chant and become drunk on the stars.

We made the earth once,
after god made us.
We made it ours.

Thoughts on paper,
Emotions in ink.
Verse that shows
What the artist may think.

Not just words
That rhyme or not.
It's a writer's emotion,
Their deepest thought.

To write great poetry
So deep and true,
It must come from emotions
Deep inside of you.

What you feel is what you write.
It helps to let it all out.
It's the perfect outlet
For those who don't scream and shout.

Do not be afraid
To let the world know.
Say what you think,
And let your emotions go.

This would be my way of saying what a poem is and how to wright one.
Those who have tried or do write poetry know that its not an easy process. The word choice and writing scheme are essential parts to writeing a poem. But in order to write a good poem,you have to write about something that you feel strong emotions for.
As I decribed in lines 15-16, its a good way to get rid of those strong emotions: such as anger, sorrow, depresion, or even bliss.
I'm not saying that its the best way for everyone to write a good poem... but it is the best way for me at least.

You are definitely one of those people who has a way with words. This means a lot to me since I've had a writer's block for the longest time and I just can't get rid of it. I really miss writing.

And now I'm pouring my heart out in this tiny little space. Sorry bout that.
